Welcome from Dr. John R. Salisbury
The prospect of hearing better when a person suspects that they may have hearing loss is often a fearful and disappointing process. Everyone knows someone who has had a negative experience with hearing aids, or with the people who are involved in hearing aid dispensing. This is due to many factors including an inaccurate or incomplete hearing evaluation, inferior quality hearing instruments, poorly fit hearing instruments,or lack of counselling and education of the patient, pre, and post hearing aid fitting. We know there is a better way.
The process of making someone hear and communicate better is not simple, easy, or inexpensive, but it is very important. When an individual or a family seeks professional help from Clifton Springs Hearing Center, we take a very personal approach in helping our clients hear better. Our Hearing evaluation will be complete and scientific, employing the most modern equipment available. We strive to find out the specific needs of each patient, and match the right technology to their life-style. Each patient is educated thoroughly in the use and operation of their new hearing instruments, and we provide routine follow-up visits on a regular basis to insure that our clients continue to hear well.
If your children require diagnostic testing for hearing and educational concerns, Paige M. Salisbury, Au.D is a Doctor of Audiology and specializes in Central Auditory Processing Disorders. She can conduct the most current battery of tests available, including electrophysiological procedures. She works very closely with psychologists, educators, and special education professionals for children that may have Attention Deficit Disorder and Learning disabilities.
The Manufacturers and products we choose to offer our patients are the most advanced, and long established in the hearing aid industry. These companies spend their resources and profits on research and development to constantly answer the question of what it is that the hearing impaired need to communicate better.
Our instruments are digital programmable, and many are completely automatic, making it very easy to use. Our computer fitting software allows us to fit hearing losses very precisely, to provide the best quality sound possible. These are very effective tools and they do work.
If you give us the opportunity to help you with your hearing problems, we will dedicate ourselves to do everything possible to allow you to communicate better. There is much to gain and little to lose. We offer each patient a 60 day trial period on any instrument that is fitted. All it takes is a little time and motivation. Together we can accomplish the goal of better hearing. |
